As you know Howard Aviation, Inc has been a user of your EBis software for about a year now. I want to personally thank you for developing this great product.

I have been in the aircraft maintenance business for fifteen years and have been searching for a software that would computerize all the different aspects of running a FAA Repair Station. When we added another Repair Station specializing in Avionics, the need for tracking products with serial numbers became essential. I tried Excel spreadsheets and different database programs very little success. I looked at every reasonably priced software I could find but each one had some area that didn't fit our needs.

When we eventually tried you product, EBis 1.0, I fell in love with it immediately due to the ability to track my technicians time so accurately. There were some areas of your program that didn't work like I would have liked, but with input from me and other users, your team developed EBis 2.0 which has surpassed all of my expectations. In a six month period we increased our billed labor by over $10,000.00 with only a $1,000.00 increase in labor costs.

Just recently the FAA issued an airworthiness directive for Garmin GNS430 units applicable to certain serial numbers, with your program we can look up all the 430's we have sold and determine which customer a certain serial number was sold to.

Our customers have really liked the invoices that EBis prints. The ability to have the parts listed with each discrepancy allows the customer to see what each repair has cost him.

Several years ago I had a customer take advantage of the law in California that requires all aircraft maintenance facilities to give a written estimate prior to completion of work and have a customer signature on the estimate. Since I had done work for this customer before, I gave her verbal estimates of the work required to make her airplanes airworthy. She authorized the work verbally then refused to pay the bill after I delivered the aircraft. I took her to small claims court and lost because I did not comply with the estimate requirements in the Business and Professions Code, $10,000.00 lost. Your program makes it easy to prepare a written estimate and takes very little time to comply with California law.
